Privacy and terms for on-call pages.
Physician's Mobile X-Ray (PMX) texts and calls its own technologists, dispatchers and managers when they are on call and something needs them. This page covers that program: what we keep, how to stop it, and who to ask.
Terms
- Program. PMX on-call pages. Short texts or voice calls from PMX's toll-free number to staff who are on call, saying what needs attention and where, with a link to sign in to PMX's dispatch app.
- Who gets them. Only PMX employees who agree. Each person enters their own phone number and ticks the agreement on the My account page of the staff app, which is behind a staff sign-in. The box starts unticked, only the person can tick it, and a changed number needs a new agreement. Agreeing is not a condition of employment.
- How often. Message frequency varies with the on-call rota and what happens after hours: usually none, sometimes a few on a busy night.
- Cost. Message and data rates may apply. PMX charges nothing.
- Stop. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts, or untick the agreement on My account. Reply START to start again.
- Help. Reply HELP, email info@pmx-ray.com or call +1 (800) 420-9729.
- No patient details. Pages never contain patient names or health information. Those stay in the app behind a sign-in.
- Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
- What we keep. Your phone number, whether you agreed and when, and a record of each page: when it was sent, whether it went through, and the last four digits of the number it went to.
- What we use it for. Only to page you when you are on call, and to keep a record of who was paged and who answered.
- Who sees it. PMX staff who run the on-call rota. Texts and calls are sent through Amazon Web Services' messaging service, which delivers them and nothing else.
- No sharing for marketing. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party, other than the messaging service and carriers that deliver the texts.
- Changing or removing it. Change or clear your number on My account at any time, or ask us at info@pmx-ray.com.
